1 Use of the sample preparation equipment is free for TEM subscribers.
2 Basic Subscriptions include use of diamond saw, polishing tools, and optical microscopes.
3 Advanced Subscriptions include all basic tools plus ion mill and microtome.
4 Training and assistance from staff is in addition to fees for subscriptions or daily use.
Note on subscriptions: Subscriptions begin on first day of training.
Notes on hourly usage:
Staff assistance and training for hourly/daily use is $50/hour
No refunds or credits for unsuccessful tests/microfabrication due to sample condition, user negligence, improper operation of the instruments!
Hours will be counted in 15 minute increments, e.g., 16 minutes counts as 1/2 hour.
